Olive Branch Symbol Of Unity

The universe is still and complete. Everything that ever was, is,everything that ever will be, is and so on, in all possible combinations. Though in perceiving it we imagine that it is in motion and unfinished it is quite finished and quite astonishingly beautiful. In the end or rather as things really are any event no matter how small it is intimately and sensibly tied to all others. All rivers run full to the sea and those who are apart are brought together. The lost ones are redeemed. The dead come back to life. The perfectly blue days that have begun and ended in golden dimness continue immobile and accessible and when all is perceived in such a way as to obviate time, justice becomes apparent not as something that will be but as something that is.

Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats. Yet each struggle, each defeat sharpens skills and strengths, courage and endurance, ability and confidence thus each obstacle is a comrade-in-arms forcing us to become better or quit. Each rebuff is an opportunity to move forward. Turn away from them, avoid them, and you throw away your future.

DS Najib Razak today open the "Multaqa Serantau" event organised by the Al-Azhar Alumni today in KL. He was seated next to Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang. Recently during the Umno General Assembly, Najib had extended an olive branch to Pas in effort of Malay unity.

None of us knows what the next change is going to be, what unexpected opportunity is just around the corner, waiting a few months or a few years to change all the tenor of our lives.
